Just wanted to give a shoutout and huge thank you to everyone who pitched in  for the 11th annual Country with Heart benefit for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital presented by Workout Anytime 24/7 and Gus Arrendale and Springer Mountain Farms.  It was a huge success and we donated close to 35-thousand dollars for research and treatments at St. Jude.  It really was a beautiful gathering and a special event.  

Heads up, my next date on the calendar is the launch of my Tales and Toe Tappers Songwriters Series at the World Famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville on September 4th.  And boy is is going to be fun.  Iconic actor and singer/songwriter John Schneider, Award winning hit songwriter Karen Staley and St. Jude’s own Addie Pratt who has performed with Lady A and Brad Paisley are all joining me in the circle to share the stories behind the songs and perform for you.  Keep an eye on the website for tickets.  They sell out quickly.  And I have more info on the poster below.

And also in  September, I am heading back to my home state of Texas for the big San Angelo Cowboy Gathering. I am really honored to perform the kickoff for the weekend at the San Angelo VFW.  They are great folks there and there is plenty of dance floor.  Come have fun with us.  I will be performing with my full band once again on September 12th alongside some of the best on stage, Jody Nix, Jake Hooker, Chuck Cusimano and Jeff Woolsey.
